The artist’s life in New York City during COVID-19 inspired her to create this project. Where does the dust come from? With the micro-macro concept, the dust is telling stories of environmental, social, political, and cultural history. The gathering is an action of archiving substances from places. It constructs images from the evidence of specific times and places, which carries intriguing past narratives.
